Audio Effect Name
Epsilon here!
I supposedly attempted to record myself speaking like a Demonic Scientist and used Audacity to put in the specific effect I know, which was a lower pitched version of the record playing at the same time as the normal pitched record. I forgot its exact name but I know what that effect is. If this is misunderstanding, here's a file to take a look at:
[I sound pretty embarrassing in my perspective! ]
Anyhow, I would appreciate if anyone remembers or rather knows the name of the effect, I searched all around Google to find the name.
Best Regards.

With Audacity you can make a good echo too and customize the delay time etc...
But try the second option from the top....I just tried some tests, I might upload later results as attachment here in the forum.

Good to hear from ya!
Although my purpose of this post was to know the name of the effect used in the audio sample, otherwise you're free to use my sample and edit what you feel could best suit your needs.
Best Regards.

Re: Audio Effect Name
Oh you mean, you applied it to the sound and want to know how it's called?
Yea well I have also for some reason audacity in the czech language so that's why I suggested the second option from the top.
What did you use then? I mean of the effects in the menu. I miht have a different version of audacity than you though...

Re: Audio Effect Name
I made three stereo tracks of the same sample I used and used "Change Pitch" for only two of the tracks to give out that "demonic" effect.
Now I need to know the name of this particular effect where one speaks with more than one voice and one of the voices differs in pitch.
I hope this isn't hard to explain.
Best Regards.

Re: Audio Effect Name
Does any of these altered sounds match your description or is it none of the effects you want?

Re: Audio Effect Name
Unfortunately that isn't what I meant, Leo.
You know, in any movie or animated series, when someone gets possessed by something they would rather talk in both a normal and a possessed voice at the same time? That's the effect that I was trying to find.
The "DemonSciTest.wav" file shows what I meant from my description when someone speaks with two voices at the same time, which is the natural, normal voice and the un-natural, demonic voice.
I hope this has been understood.

Re: Audio Effect Name
The best way to achieve this would be to duplicate the track and apply a pitch shift to one track.

SerpentineStorm,
Best Regards, my friend!
WOOF WOOF and BEYOND!
Yes, I was fully aware this was the way to do it. This was done when I used Audacity and loved the voice FX so much that I needed to know its name. Thank you, though! While I don't know the proper name of the voice FX, I will simply call it the "Overlapping Pitched Effect."
Best Regards, my friend!
