Re: Screenshots for Fun
It's that Wizard model from the cut contents of Unreal, I turned it into a SkeletalMesh player model "titled UnWizard]["
Here's the download to the model pack that includes it : http://www.mediafire.com/file/3y5myzdlm ... ayers1.zip

Re: Screenshots for Fun
I based the wizard model in upsx/flp on the one from bryan in the first place. He used the skeletalanimation from the default bp4 anims though called "soldieranims". Any skeletalmesh can be assigned any animation set without much issues unlike with unreal meshes where they have to be substantially similar to work. That doesn't mean there wouldn't be glitches but in general this more of separation can be creatively beneficial by modders not having to animate the models separately etc. The wizard mesh I used however was normal lodmesh and I had to copy/reposition the frames and then compile it into the .3d model.
Most Unreal meshes were animated using a skeleton, just it is removed from the data post processing. Many people used to think that it was simply animated vertex by vertex like friggin milkshape but no that wasn't the case and some people went through unnecesary trouble to create meshes that way (like daewon or masterunreal).
They were simply converted from 3dsmax or other programs (from the other titles that were being developed), using internal tools and such. But yea nobody else made a proper wizard mesh. I didn't use bryan's team skins for my wizards, as I wanted to stay closer to the color of the red robe that was found on the face mask skin. There was a full red robes skin that wasn't recovered and probably had some more differences but this is what we had to make with.

Ever decided to take a nap in the middle of a hot day, woken up hours later only to discover it's not the early morning of the following day but instead the night of the same one you went to sleep? Today, that was my day.

TODAY IS ELECTION DAY!
Yes, much of what I put on these posts has nothing to do with the post.

Re: Screenshots for Fun
I try to do a screenshots dump at least once a month: 8 shots to forums, 5 shots to groups on Facebook... but I don't always have a theme.
