time to say good bye

.... Words really cannot express well my feelings at this time.

I have always tried to be there for many of you when life had
taken a bad turn. I stood up for those who were not understood.

John, I spoke of your kindness and how much it meant to you to
help people when you made prosthetics for them. That underneath
you had a very kind and gentle heart.

Louis, I stood up for you. I told people you did not cheat.
I tried to defuse the sliding issue by getting it out in the
open for all to understand. I explained how bright you are, tho
a bit stubborn at times. <g> I cared that you were doing ok.

Kim, I stayed with you for days and day after Don died, not wanting
you to be alone. I tried to make sure I was there the 10th
of every month to support you.

I poked Larry to make some more maps for everyone.

Yesterday.. a day that was extremly stressful to me, I needed to play
and not think if Larry's father is dead or dying. It was just me
and one other player, ' I am not myself' in the server. I needed
to do something to keep my mind off the phone not ringing.
The map was huge, we could not find each other. Dog City, I think,
which is bigger than Zeitkind in some ways. So, with a gift
of trust that I honored with and had never used on the Koth server,
I switched a map.

Last night... you all left me. I thought I had friendship with
some of you, but I must have been mistaken.

Sparky, thank you for your kindness and your wonderful snarky
sense of humor. Jackal, thank you for shooting me off cliffs
and tossing flaming barrels at me. It made me laugh. I will
miss that. But, I cannot come to be with people who will
turn on me that fast, not remembering my caring. There are many
I can't take time to thank here. BeachBum, Cactus, Gort. Iamnotmyself who took the time
yesterday to play gently and give me time to smile..
to all those who who made me laugh and smile.

Oh no you dont, You come right back here!!

This is a long and foggy story. It all started one rainy night in Indiana.
Actually it started with the COOP server and the need for admins. I had previously been thinking of asking you about being admin and had previously discussed it with Turok and Jackal. When we got the COOP server up and you were playing, Jackal asked if we should make you admin and I said sure I think its a great idea particulary since some admins wont play coop (Ermmm T) and the coop servers require more admins. I told him to give you the password. Well, he must have had the ugly filter turned off, because he gave out the global admin password, not only once, but twice. On the COOP server each admin has their own password. Anyway I told him that it wasnt a problem and that I thought you would handle it just fine, I knew that you knew that I knew you had the password. Changing maps is certainly not abuse of admin powers, and I do it all the time by accident.

This morning, before reading this post, after examining this forum and recent events, I decided it might be wise to change our Master password and I did, "early this morning". That had nothing to do with this post and was purely bad timing on my part. Now each server admin will have their own password for all servers. I have not given the COOP admins powers on the KOTH or MM because they are not yet well versed in Uteam or have they the DM experience or my confidence for the MainLine servers yet. I very much would like for you to retain admin and further to wear a DOG tag, you and the other great admins we have, keep the Newbies servers like we want to keep them, a family oriented, clean place to play. Email me your new password, and I will get it on all our servers

Wow....ya know, I'm glad I didn't know about this till right now, I would have lost sleep over this until you got back here. Hey Blonde, you may have lost the Dog Tag but I found your collar and no one else can fit it. The game is only a game, but a DOG is so much more. As I've said before, once a DOG , always a DOG!
