Ive been playing Unreal online for years.........requesting to join........I am not a tech savy person so any help is appreciated.....

............cant tell you how disapointed I was last night when nothing came up..........oh well..........If they put men on the moon I think I can do this HA !

Well I followed the instructions.........but when I hit the executable file I got critical error messages..........sometimes a screen with "Unreal recovery mode" would come up.........I would click run and nothing.........Im downloading it again........will try again.

hey patrick,
did you download the complete package, as suggested? UnrealGold227j_19 ?
the package has been tested and works fine, so if there was no file-corruption while downloading, i assume there must be some incompatibility with your hardware-settings (or some antivirus-program is interfering). when first launching unreal.exe, you are being asked, what kind of graphics-adapter and audio-adapter you want to use. what did you choose there? OpenGl/Direct3D .... OpenAL?
please email me the file unreal.ini located in your Unreal\System folder...

When asked what kind of graphics...........it will say its searching and I wait and wait........and nothing.......
