Anisotropy....i can't express enough how much better it makes things look

Here is my important settings now, Antialiasing = 16x, resolution = 1280x1024

Heres a pic without anisotropy(plus some annotations)

Heres a pic with anisotropy(anything from 4x to 16x will work fine, annotations)

For Editing Maps. Mods, Skin Ect. Ect. Ect. I have A Whole other Install Of Unreal. I use The Nomal Setting for 3DFX & The 3DFX Glide Wrap for Unreal Ed 225F this keeps things very simple and never get carzy things going on "MissMatch Blah Blah" and I know for sure people will have all the packages they will need to play My Creations
(BTW The "F' in 225F Was never intended to mean Final it just another release)

My Playing "Unreal Install 226" Setting in OpenGLDrv I Use The Tweaked "OpenGlDrv2.1.0.7.zip 258 Kb OldUnreal OpenGL patch for versions 226F/Gold." Link for this on bottom of Posting.

PLEASE NOTE: Video Card Used is a GeForce FX 5900XT and Above Others Not Tested Save your ini's if you dont then dont blame anyone but yourself =)

Anyways My Setting 226 OpenGL

There are a couple settings here you should check out

UseMultiTexture - I'm not entirely sure how to explain this, but take a look at these screenshots

Without MultiTexture(Default)
Image

With MultiTexture
Image

Notice the atmosphere looks a bit darker with MultiTexture on, turning brightness down won't get you that look, but just darkness

Another setting, HighDetailActors, this may sound misleading so ill explain it some, basically this is just a pointer for actors, such as the skybox in Dark.unr, it also points to rockets and flak shells, with this off, there will be less smoke coming from the projectiles but that does not matter much, at the expense of a few details, you'll get better lighting, on some maps there isn't much of a difference, but on Dark.unr there is a very large difference, which I will show now, these screenshots also have MultiTexture on

With HighDetailActors(Default)
Image

Without HighDetailActors

I don't need to explain much :) If you look in the editor on the official maps, you will see two skyboxes, well one is for HighDetailActors, and one is for without it, on some maps though there isn't a huge difference

With HighDetailActors(Default)
Image

Without HighDetailActors

This is just my personal preference, I think it looks better than the standard settings, but this is just me, maybe you will like it too, so thats why I shared it :)
