Jackal's server

Newbies is pleased to announce that the Jackals server is now running the new map rotation and the newly implemented voting system. We have given much time and consideration to the new map rotation and the associated amount of spawns for any given map. In general, about 50% of the maps have an increased amount of spawns for Coop play, this is particularly true for the regular stock maps. A few maps have had the spawner disabled completely. Also, now that the maps are grouped by author, this gives the server an added structural appeal and we think all players will appreciate this.

All these rotation and spawner changes can be found in the changelogs at the bottom of

the new map list and spawned enemies.

To access the new voting system, either type "Mapvote" into the console or use the new inventory icon.

We look forward to any feedback!

Happy fragging!

WooF!

I've noticed that in Redeem Your Space, you have
"03Temple.unr" going to "04Mountains.unr"
followed by
"S1SkyShip.unr" going to "04Mountains.unr"
and same with S2, S3, etc.
Does this mean that the server will skip these maps?
Like, after you beat 03Temple.unr, it will jump straight to 04Mountains.unr, and therefore it will never load S1SkyShip.unr during the usual map rotation? Is this what you want? The fact that these S1, S2, S3, etc maps *aren't* greyed out makes me think that you *want* them in the rotation.

Hi André!

03Temple has 2 exits (oops no spoiler alert!) therefore it purely depends on which teleporter the player hits, so no, all maps there are already in the rotation.

Oh, I thought that regardless of which teleporter a player reached at the end of the map, the server would just send them to the map given by "next map" in the map list
