Blonde, aaaauuugghhh, mine got put off at the moment, but thanks for the thoughts, I was sure we were gonna end up on that slab at the same time. Surgeon wanted to do it today, I decided to wait and talk to the specialist, and I'm still waiting for him to call me back. Man, I hate the waiting thing. And then I think, I hate any profession that has a "waiting room"....lol. That's a sure sign your gonna get a huge bill. But I'm here thinking of ya brother. Huge man Hug back man!!! Yes Daisy, I do have an Oncology Specialist, who's also the head of Oncology at Scripps Hospital, handling my case and was waiting for him to refer me to an Oncology surgeon whom I'd feel better about doing the surgery, but in the mean time I get a call 2 days ago from the same general surgeon that did the initial surgery for the biopsy telling me that I need to get this second surgery done immediately, like yesterday or today. I called the Oncologist and left a message for him to call me, thought the initial surgeon was out of the picture, but she made it sound like she consulted with him and was put in charge of doing this second surgery. Been talking to Sparky about it all along and I'm not calling her back to set up the surgery. I'll wait for him to call me or I'll go in Monday and see him personally. I just can't help think she needs to pay the off the loan on a second or something...lol. Just not sure what her underlying motives are. And thanks Blonde, I'm sure your right, I just wish, like you I was done with this already and back at work. After realizing how fast the time went by that you were in and out and back home, I realized that it's like a blink of an eye that the worst part is over and the recovery starts. Up till now it's been the "in betweens" that's really getting to me. Not knowing how fast it's spreading or how far its actually taken hold. I can't help but think it's not as far as they say it is...but heck, I thought I was going in for an infection to begin with. Thank you guys for what your doing and for your concern, it helps me figure all this out one step at a time. Sparky sent me some reading that's been amazing in giving me the realistic picture of what's going on and what can be and should be done. I think I'm sure I got this in time to deal with once and for all, I'm praying thats the case anyways. So that's where it stands for now, I'll let you know what I find out on Monday. Thanks Taco, I can feel your presents across the hills here...can see you waving back to me and I can feel the energy my friend, that you and yours are sending for me. It's being received and I can feel the spirit that brings it. Helps me face this thing head on and try to get some kind of control over what going to be happening and who's gonna be making it happen. I pray for all god sends in my corner and I believe their all starting to come together one by one from unusual locations and circumstances, which to me says it's right on coarse. Ya know, I'm finding it's not the procedure that's getting to me, it's the blasted waiting for it, that takes its toll ...so far anyways...probably change my mind once I'm back in the hospital too...lol. Oh BTW, just so you guys know, I can see Taco's house from where I'm sitting, literally, lol. We can actually see each others houses, although it's across about 10 miles or so as the crow flies. I worry every time I see smoke from his neighborhood that either his Taco stand is on fire or the tire dump is going up in flames again....can't quite make it out from here...lol. Hey, Thanks John, that means a lot to be able to have someone bounce this stuff off of. I'm getting what I'm figuring is misleading and sometimes disinformation from different directions. If it weren't for Sparky's great insight into what I'm dealing with, I know I would already be regretting things that would've been put into motion and wouldn't have been in my best interest, but only made it easier to put a check mark in a box saying that it was done. It doesn't ever ask "was it done right?" and I notice the bills don't ask that either. And man, as huge as they are, you would think they could spend the extra ink making sure. Dodged those bullets so far thank god, and I'm still working on the next surgery Daisy. I'm still in the "In betweens" I'm in between Doctors taking the case and in between the surgeries, and in between the treatments that will soon follow the surgeries. I think this is the worst place to be so far. I know what I'm gonna go through at least, but I just don't quite know where or when or by whom the surgeries and treatments are to be done by. I'm waiting......patiently.....but recovering well from the last one and the flu that kicked my butt last week after feeling like I'd been hit by a bus. So for the past 3 days I'm feeling almost back to my old self. Think this is probably what they were waiting for. Now their gonna reload and then attack again soon. Waiting each day here for that phone call that starts all this in motion. It's nerve racking just sitting and waiting,to having that phone ring and it's a wrong number. Well all is ok for now. Thanks you guys I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers coming my way. It helps when I'm adding all this up to have that much in my corner. Thanks alot!!! You'll be the first to know as it happens. Not looking forward to dealing with this again. They better have cable connection in that treatment center too, or it's gonna be a UNREALLY loooonnnnggggg stay! But I don't know if there's a down time between surgery and the Chemo starting up either. Something else I'll have to find out. Seems they don't tell you anything till your standing at the door. Like if you knew, you might not show up or something! This Has Been....
