we are offering the ULTIMATE CACHE parts on an alternative server located in europe (germany). to european players the download-packages should be a lot faster than the downloads from the usa-server - even for american and all other players.
if you find the time, please check out this link and if possible, reply your DL-speed (maybe related to the DL speed from the classic download-location). if it serves the NEWBIESPLAYGROUND-players we might use an additional alternative mirror for the huge downloadpackages of ULTIMATE CACHE

300 KB\sec from Newbie's. This is from Canada with plain Jane DSL connection.

260 KB/s from the original location, but only if nothing else is running. About 225 KB/s when I'm on a server. This speed was always the same.
Constant rate of 1.4 MB/s from the mirror.

I'm in North Carolina USA and amazingly got the same speeds on both servers.Go figure...
Unreal installed with supercache(Including Download)in about 20 minutes. 227h installed and running Win7Ultimate 64bit,12gb ram with a quad core and an AMD/ATI Radeon HD5770 1gb card.
